Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Offices in California seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the Imaging Services Director. You will operate radiographic equipment, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images.

The role requires ARRT certification, CA licensure, and BLS; CT or fluoroscopy experience is preferred. This is a part-time, onsite position with a 28-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT Certification in CT or a specialty as specified.
• CA venipuncture and fluoroscopy permits as applicable.
• BLS certification required; additional CA-specific licenses may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views.
• Determines exposure factors and operates radiographic equipment.
• Prepares images for reading by radiologist and ensures quality control.
• Maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
• Orients new hires and trains students.
