Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational program in diagnostic radiologic technology approved by the American Medical Association and the American College of Radiology.
• Certification in Radiologic Technologist - ARRT, Fluoroscopy Certificate (California), Basic Life Support, and ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates various x-ray and imaging control consoles and related equipment to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and work area per department guidelines.
• Rotates every other weekend and covers main campus, medical office buildings, and off-site clinic locations.
