Job summary

Lakeside Hospital, part of CHI St. Luke’s Health in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images and contribute to patient care. You will perform X‑ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI imaging while ensuring accuracy, safety, and a positive patient experience.

Required ARRT certification/CPR and Texas licensure at hire; an Associate of Science is preferred. Join a hospital network focused on cardiology, sports medicine, orthopedics and spine care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests per departmental procedures under Medical Director.
• Prepares equipment and ensures operation, safety and QA; documents findings.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and contacts Lead Technologist as needed.
• Maintains infection control standards and room/equipment logs.
• Maintains clinical supply inventories for procedures

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X‑rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director. Obtains and documents patient history.


• Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards. Performs periodic QA and Ensures requisite documentation.


• Problem solves equipment failure and contacts Lead Technologist regarding equipment problems.


• Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.


• Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained


• Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure

As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line, Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT and nuclear medicine.

Pay Range

$28.10 - $41.80 /hour
