Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required at hire.
• Medical Radiography license or TX credential required at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) required at hire.
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT exams according to departmental protocols under the Medical Director's guidance.
• Prepares equipment ensuring operational, safe, and standards-compliant status.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and coordinates with service representatives on problems.
• Maintains infection control standards and performs daily equipment/room maintenance.
• Completes all quality checks and maintains equipment logs.
• Manages clinical supply inventories for each diagnostic room.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Performs CT exams on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director.

• Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards

• Problem‑solves equipment failure and imaging quality and contacts service representative or CES regarding equipment problems

• Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed during/ after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.

• Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained

• Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure

Required

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or

• High School GED General Studies, upon hire and

• Medical Radiographer: TX, upon hire and

• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days and

• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and

• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, within 9 - months

Preferred

• Associates Other, upon hire and

• One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or

• one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting

Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians— focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology, sports medicine, orthopedics, including total joint replacement, and spine care in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line, Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT and nuclear medicine.

Pay Range

$36.51 - $54.31 /hour
