Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Perform complete diagnostic imaging tests on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of the Medical Director. Obtain and document patient history.
- Prepare equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning according to diagnostic standards. Perform periodic QA and ensure requisite documentation.
- Problem solve equipment failure and contact appropriate personnel regarding equipment problems.
- Ensure that daily equipment and room maintenance are performed before/during/after each procedure, and that special precautions and measures are performed to ensure infection control standards.
- Complete all quality checks and ensure that equipment logs are maintained.
- Complete all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies required to perform the procedure.

- One (1) year of experience and
- Medical Radiographer: TX, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 days.
