Job summary

Christiana Care Health System, Wilmington Hospital, is recruiting for a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to work evening shifts with weekend and holiday requirements. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, developing radiographs, ED coverage, training radiology students, and handling related clerical tasks. Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Radiology Science, ARRT registration, Delaware license,

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science.
• RT Technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required.
• Delaware license.
• Certification in CPR.
• Flexibility in hours and duties is required.

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment.
• Developing and identifying radiographs.
• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties.
• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro.
• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students.
• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems.
• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm.
• Burn patient CD's.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
• Developing and identifying radiographs

Hourly Pay Range: $33.43 - $53.48This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
