Job summary

Advocate Health's AMC Washington County in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to support ED, IP, Surgery and fluoroscopy with training provided. You will perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, and document billing and exams in the RIS.

Licensure as a Wisconsin Radiographer, ARRT RT registration, and BLS certification within 6 months are required. No prior experience is necessary; excellent communication and ability to work

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Wisconsin radiographer license and ARRT RT registration.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including fluoroscopic exams.
• Explain procedures, collect history and address questions.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with safety practices.
• Identify patient data, verify orders, and process images with RIS.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists.
• Document billing codes and enter data in RIS.
• Safely assist with patient transfers and lifting as needed.
