Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform general diagnostic radiography, fluoroscopy, and C-arm procedures. The role involves explaining procedures to patients, obtaining histories, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.

You will position patients, select exposure factors, and manage images within the radiology information system, while maintaining quality and accuracy.

• Perform radiologic procedures including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and C-arm as applicable.
• Explain procedures and obtain clinical history from patients; address questions.
• Position patients and select exposure factors; ensure radiation safety.
• Identify patient, label images, verify orders, and process images for quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and work independently outside the department as needed.
• Maintain records and enter data into the RIS; code procedures for charges.
• Serve as resource/mentor; support accreditation efforts.
• Perform patient positioning and lifting duties with proper technique.
• Provide age-appropriate care and assess patient needs across life span.
