Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Germantown, MD location. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging including portables, fluoroscopy, and OR cases, with ARRT(R) credential and MD license.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered and flex scheduling supports patient care efficiency. Responsibilities include accurate documentation in HIS/RIS/PACS, assisting radiologists, and upholding ALARA principles while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT accredited school of Radiography or associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification and Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging studies including portables, fluoroscopy and OR cases.
• Identify patients, review orders and select diagnostic x-ray protocols.
• Document in HIS/RIS/PACS/Envision systems.
• Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and maintain ALARA principles.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support front desk/transporter duties.
• Orient new employees and train radiography students.
