Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures under a radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You may be deployed to various network sites as needed and participate in ongoing staff training and orientation.

Required ARRT accreditation, radiography training, and BLS certification, with an emphasis on accurate imaging, safety, and teamwork within a dynamic imaging department in the Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of an ARRT accredited program required.
• Other / Certificate Radiography program or US military Radiography training required.
• Associates degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Review patient identification, orders, and history to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Transport patients to and from the exam room and assist into position using safe handling techniques.
• Perform radiology procedures and observe patient during procedure to ensure safety and comfort.
• Obtain and evaluate images for technical quality and annotate as required by protocols.
• Rotates throughout the department to cover staffing and volume.
