Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Outpatient Imaging team in Germantown, MD seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging (portables, fluoroscopy, OR cases) and support radiologists. You will handle patient identification, orders review, and protocol selection to maximize quality and safety, while upholding ALARA principles.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT R.T.(R), Maryland license, and AMA/JRCERT-accredited Radiography education; BLS is required and 1 year of experience is

Qualifications

• ARRT R.T.(R) certification and Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required.
• AMA/JRCERT accredited radiography program or associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification must be current; one year radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging studies including portables, fluoroscopy and OR cases.
• Identify patients, review orders, and select X-ray protocol to ensure quality and safety.
• Document in HIS/RIS/PACS/Envision systems accurately.
• Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and maintain ALARA practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adapt schedule to patient demand.
• Train and orient new staff and radiography students.
