Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and participate in the care of patients in a fast-paced radiology department.

Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, maintaining patient safety, and documenting in EMR/PACS. The role requires post-certification experience, strong communication, and the ability to work across shifts in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
• Post-certification experience and ability to supervise/educate students or new staff may be required.

Responsibilities

• Move, position, and operate radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Perform imaging with accurate patient demographics and exam information.
• Maintain EMR/PACS documentation timely and accurately.
• Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and safe for patient care.
• Follow radiation safety concepts to minimize exposure (ALARA).
