AdventHealth in Florida seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality images. You will operate radiographic equipment, document in EMR/PACS, and adhere to ALARA principles while collaborating with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, ensuring exam room readiness, and cross-training into advanced modalities as needed, with shifts likely 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma (Required)
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers (Required)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively (Required)
• Maintain knowledge of imaging equipment and radiation safety concepts (Required)
• Proficient with EMR systems (EPIC) and PACS (Required)

Responsabilités

• Move and position radiographic equipment to perform procedures safely.
• Perform imaging procedures meeting department standards and high image quality.
• Monitor patient condition and provide direct patient care within technologist scope.
• Maintain sterile, clean exam rooms and ensure equipment is regularly cleaned and safety-checked.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR/PACS systems.
• Follow ALARA radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Assist with inventory and cross-train into advanced modalities as needed.
