Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center, LLC in Gadsden, AL invites a Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Radiology team with a pathway to Cath Lab Tech training. This full-time role requires on-call availability and operates 7:30a–4:00p on dayshift.

You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure image quality, and maintain regulatory compliance while interacting with patients and coordinating with PACS. ARRT-R/RCIS/CCT certifications and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R or RCIS or CCT Certification.
• Current BLS accredited by the AHA.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Perform Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal regulations.
• Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
• participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist, internally referred to as our Rad Tech or Diagnostic Radiology Tech, who is interested in training to be a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech).
