Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Familiar with state and federal regulations.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, and other examinations following department protocols.
• Ensure X-ray equipment functions properly and images meet quality standards; perform equipment checks and calibrations as needed.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and medical history.
• Stay updated on radiologic technology advancements and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accreditation and ARRT registry status.
