Job summary

Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Cath Lab on a full-time first shift. The role supports a 24/7 chest pain accredited facility performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cath, PCI, and TEEs.

The incumbent will operate complex radiographic equipment, adhere to ALARA standards, and collaborate with RNs and other clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Provides health care services using medical imaging techniques.
• Interprets and performs procedures with professional judgment and ethics.
• Maintains patient safety and ALARA standards during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accepts patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling.
• Explain and prepare the patient for all cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Interviews patients and reviews clinical data to alert staff to contraindications.
• Operates radiographic equipment in the cath lab to produce high-quality images.
• Performs clerical duties related to cath lab procedures.
