A leading healthcare provider in New York is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce quality diagnostic radiographs and ensure excellent patient care. The role involves documenting patient history, preparing patients, and assisting physicians. This in-office position requires strong communication skills and a background in radiologic technology.
OrthoNY has open positions for Radiologic Technologist. This position will produce quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;
· Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;
· Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;
· Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;
· Assisting physician in patient care as requested;
· Other responsibilities as designated by the Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology;
· 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred;
· Excellent communication and customer service skills;
OTHER INFORMATION
· This is an “in office” position in a safe work environment (COVID safety protocols in effect).
· Travel between offices will be required.
