Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures (radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound) per protocols.
• Ensure X-ray equipment functions and images meet quality standards; perform calibrations as needed.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
• Stay updated on radiologic technology and pursue continuing education for licensure.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.

Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I, internally referred to as our Radiology Tech I. The Rad Tech I will be conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures. This involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols
• Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations
• Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history
• Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
