Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in radiologic technology.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) certification required upon hire or currently held.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire; ARC/AHA details may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures with standardized positioning to maximize safety.
• Produce x-rays of specified body areas as directed by physician or radiologist.
• Verify patient identity and orders; prepare patients and minimize anxiety.
• Protect patients from radiation using lead shields and safety practices.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist in calibrations; report malfunctions.
• Evaluate images for quality and push to PACS for permanent records.
