Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking dedicated RT Assistants local to the Greater Houston area for full-time, nested positions. Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support documentation of services provided.

Those hired as Assistant Radiographer or Radiographer Trainee will operate under direct supervision and must meet NRC requirements. This role demands travel readiness, valid TWIC, and the ability to read technical documents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification is required.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
• Willingness to travel out of town and overnight as needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment under supervision when required, and maintain safety protocols.
