MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking dedicated RT Assistants local to the Greater Houston area for full-time, on-site positions. The role supports the Level II NDE Technician and offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience with radiographic testing in a field environment.

As an RT Assistant, you will contribute to safety and quality amid a rigorous work schedule, with potential travel and strict adherence to procedures. This is a full-time on-site opportunity in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read technical documents and engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Level II NDE Technician with designated NDT activities.
• Set up and tear down of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations of equipment.
• Assist with documentation and reports of services.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
• Operate radiographic equipment only under supervision and within NRC guidelines.
