Texas Health Plano is seeking a Radiographer (RAD Tech) for a full-time, day shift at 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX. You will join a high-volume, fast-paced Radiology Department serving North Texas with a collaborative radiologist group.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT/TMB/TDH eligibility, BCLS and CPI within stated timelines. Prior radiologic experience and GMRT certification are preferred, with a strong focus on patient care and image

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required
• Associate's Degree preferred
• 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred
• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist certification required
• ARRT certification required
• BCLS certification prior to independent patient care required
• CPI certification within 90 days required

Responsabilidades

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family prior to exam
• Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest
• Perform complex procedures with age-related criteria
• Adjust technique for age-related factors
• Assist radiologist with complex/invasive procedures using aseptic technique
• Maintain attention to detail
• Process and manipulate images; assess image quality and adjust or repeat as needed
• Send and transfer images to PACS correctly
• Print laser images from modality or PACS
• Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities

Formação académica

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Associate's Degree

1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred

GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist

Here's What You Need

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire required or

• Associate's Degree preferred

• 1 Year radiologic technologist experience preferred

• GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

• CPI - Crises Prevention Intervention within 90 days required

What You Will Do

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam

• Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest

• Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations

• Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors

• Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique

• Maintain attention to details

• Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed

• Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS

• Correctly send and transfer images to PACS

• Print laser images from modality or PACS

• Coordinate with Centralized Scheduling and other modalities
