Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and deliver high-quality imaging and patient care in a fast-paced trauma center.

You will operate DR rooms and radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy, C-arms, and O-arm, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety. PRN hours include holidays, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
  • 1 year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
  • ARRT certification within 6 months of hire required.
  • GMRT eligibility (TDH or TMB) required on hire.
  • BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient communication and venipuncture as needed.
  • Imaging quality control and processing tasks.
  • Provide patient care as part of the radiology team.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment.

WORK HOURS: PRN as needed, including holidays requirements

Here's What You Need

  • Other – Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology upon hire required or
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred.
  • Surgery Experience preferred.
  • GMRT – General Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required and
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • Communication and computer experience helpful.
