Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray imaging under the direction of a Radiologist, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and proper records.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, maintaining safety, obtaining patient history, and assisting with procedures; NJ RT license, ARRT, and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School required.
• 0-3 years of experience as Radiographer or related area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes per guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment; ensures safety and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, answers questions.
• Ensures equipment readiness and patient comfort during procedures.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and monitors for revisions.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
