Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiographer to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures and generate high-quality images under the direction of the Radiologist.

You will prepare and maintain patient records, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort during imaging. NJ license, ARRT certification, BLS, and graduation from an accredited radiography program are required; 0–3 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• NJ State RT license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

ARRT Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
