Job summary

Cumulus Media in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sales Assistant to support a fast-paced advertising sales team. You will liaise with clients, input orders, prepare proposals, and help deploy digital campaigns while maintaining strong customer care and timely communications.

The role requires 1–3 years in sales/advertising, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a team environment. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising or promotions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter, detail oriented and well organized.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with management and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the sales team, clients and internal departments.
• Input new and revised orders; assist in creating sales proposals and campaigns.
• Assist Account Executives with order and traffic entry as needed.
• Prepare and assemble reports and presentations; gather data via internal systems.
• Support clients by providing documents and paperwork for media buys.
• Backup for reception and traffic team; attend promotional events when needed.
• Maintain sales materials and media kits; input traffic instructions into systems.
