Job summary

Aerowave Technologies is seeking a Radio Repair Technician in Coppell, TX. You will be the first line of support for our two-way radio equipment, diagnosing and repairing RF boards, portables, mobiles, and base stations across major brands.

You will calibrate radios, document repairs, and use software tools to flash firmware and align devices, while upholding safety standards and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair RF circuit boards to component level.
• Read schematics and layout diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Use test equipment to verify repairs and alignment.
• Maintain accurate repair records and equipment calibration data.
• Adhere to ESD and safety practices on all assemblies.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients or colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot RF circuit boards and perform repairs down to components.
• Align and calibrate repaired radios to manufacturer specs.
• Program radios using manufacturer tools (CPS/RSS, KPG, etc.).
• Create and maintain repair documentation in CM system.
• Follow safety and ESD procedures during repair work.
