Job summary

EnergySolutions is seeking personnel to oversee licensed waste processing operations on a 12‑hour shift at a Tennessee facility. You will monitor control room equipment, adjust processes, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance while coordinating a team.

The role requires reading specifications, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining logs. Candidates must meet safety qualifications and be able to obtain RadWorker and Control Room Operator certifications within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interpret equipment manuals and processing specs.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and safety qualifications.
• Ability to obtain RadWorker and Control Room Operator qualifications within specified timelines.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and rotation schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite shift oversight of licensed waste processing operations.
• Operate control room equipment to process radioactive waste materials.
• Monitor system displays, readouts, and instrumentation; adjust as needed.
• Train and direct team members; ensure qualifications are up to date.
• Maintain logs, records, and reports; ensure safety and compliance.
