Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Must pass hazwoper physical and pre-employment checks.
• Strong knowledge of safety processes in hazardous zones.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in at least two work areas.
• Proficiency with bench work and Accutrack system is desirable.
• Able to follow printed Pick List instructions.

Responsibilities

• Loads and packs materials into containers for transportation and reviews documentation for accuracy.
• Operates forklift and other heavy equipment as required.
• Reviews and processes materials through sorting, shredding, repackaging per procedures.
• Follows safety rules and maintains a clean, orderly area.
• Maintains logs, manifests, records and reports for material identity.
• Prepares bills of lading and DOT-compliant transportation documents.
• Performs routine inspections and ensures safety systems meet tolerances.
• Operates in control room and supports multiple processing areas.
• Drives local tractor-trailers for material transport as needed.
• Ensures compliance with policies, licenses and regulations.
