Job summary

Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Process Technician 2 in Memphis, TN to support radioactive material handling and processing operations. You will read and interpret documentation, operate heavy equipment, maintain logs, and perform daily safety rounds in a regulated environment.

The role requires handling hazardous materials, following health physics rules, and working across multiple process areas with supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and procedures.
• Effective communication skills to work with supervisors and teams.
• Must pass a pre-employment Hazwoper physical.
• General knowledge of processes and procedures for safe zone work.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience; 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and packs materials into containers for transportation.
• Operates forklift and other heavy equipment as required.
• Reviews documentation of radioactive materials for accuracy.
• Operates sorting, segregation, size reduction, treatment, and repackaging operations.
• Maintains logs, manifests, records and reports for materials.
• Prepares bills of lading and ensures compliance with DOT requirements.
• Performs control room operations and routine facility inspections.
• Drives tractor-trailers for local transport of materials.
• Ensures safety, PPE use, and health physics regulations are followed.
• Works under supervision and performs other duties as assigned.
