Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Radiation Therapist to operate linear accelerators, NOMOS, and simulators, and to manage daily patient scheduling for efficient treatment delivery. You will review treatment plans, dosimetry, and charts before first treatment, document all procedures, and assist with billing and quality control.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy, maintains a current BLS, and demonstrates strong English communication with the ability to work on-call and flexible shifts,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment.
• Must possess ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on-call rotation and variable shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and treat patients using linear accelerators, NOMOS, and simulator rooms.
• Review treatment plans, dosimetry, and charts before first treatment.
• Document treatments daily and ensure accurate billing.
• Identify equipment issues and notify physicist promptly.
• Maintain patient records and films; ensure timely quality control.
