Job summary

UCI Health in California seeks a Radiation Therapist to perform daily patient treatments in the linear accelerator, NOMOS, and simulator rooms. You will schedule patients, review treatment plans, document findings, and support accurate billing while maintaining records.

The role requires ARRT/CRT, BLS, and the ability to work on-call with variable shifts, including weekends. Strong English communication and patient‑centered care are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computers.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job and excellent English communication.
• Must hold ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy and current BLS certification.
• Ability to work on-call rotation and variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily patient treatments and procedures in the linear accelerator, NOMOS, and simulator rooms.
• Schedule patients to optimize available time slots and review treatment plans before start.
• Document findings, billing, and notify physicians or physicists of concerns as needed.
• Maintain films, medical records, and run quality control across equipment.
