Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to operate linear accelerators, simulators, and related equipment in Radiation Oncology. You will schedule patients, perform port films, review treatment plans with physicians, and document daily treatments.

The role requires ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy, BLS, strong English communication, and the ability to work on-call with variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computers safely and accurately.
• Review treatment plans and dosimetry before initial treatment.
• Maintain patient treatment documentation and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and triage patient treatments to maximize time slot efficiency.
• Obtain port films and communicate findings with physicians.
• Notify physicist of equipment issues and document outcomes.
