Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a Radiation Therapist to operate linear accelerators, NOMOS, and simulators, while coordinating daily patient schedules and reviewing treatment plans. You will document treatments, ensure quality control, and communicate with physicians and physicists.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to safely and accurately operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computers.
• Must possess ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work on-call rotation and variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation therapy equipment, linear accelerators, simulators and computers safely and accurately.
• Schedule and manage daily patient appointments to optimize time usage.
• Review treatment plans, dosimetry and charts before first patient treatments.
• Document daily patient treatments and ensure accurate billing and records.
