Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine is seeking a Radiation Therapist to coordinate daily patient activities in Radiation Oncology, schedule port films, review results with physicians, document findings, and maintain radiographic equipment and records.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy, demonstrate excellent English communication, be able to work on-call and across variable shifts, and operate linear accelerators, simulators and related imaging and QA equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT/CRT in Radiation Therapy required.
• Proven ability to safely operate radiation therapy equipment and related devices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patient activities in Radiation Oncology.
• Schedule and take port films on all patients.
• Review results with physicians and document findings.
• Maintain films and medical records and purge files as needed.
• Maintain and operate radiographic equipment and QA devices.
