Urologic Specialists is seeking a Radiation Therapist Lead to supervise and support the Radiation Oncology team at our Schererville center. The role focuses on administering prescribed radiation treatments, supervising fellow therapists, calibrating equipment, and maintaining patient safety and documentation.

Strong communication, organization, and HIPAA compliance are essential. The position requires a high school diploma, a 3-year Radiation Therapy certificate, and AMA-accredited program

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent and a 3-year Radiation Therapy certificate.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy program; ARRT certification expected.

Responsabilités

• Lead therapist(s) in a professional, courteous patient care role.
• Administer daily prescribed Radiation Therapy treatments to patients.
• Calibrate treatment machines and set unit parameters; monitor patient progress.
• Prepare rooms and equipment; maintain records of downtime and service calls.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies; ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
