Urologic Specialists of Northwest Indiana invites applications for a Radiation Oncology Physicist at our Schererville center. The role collaborates with the Lead Medical Physicist to deliver radiological services, enforce safety, and support research protocols.

Under supervision, you will calibrate and configure treatment delivery equipment, participate in QA, and ensure regulatory compliance. ABR/ABMP certification and state licensure are required, with 5+ years clinical experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in medical physics or biophysics.
• Five years of clinical radiation therapy physics experience preferred.
• ABR or ABMP certification required; state licensure as needed.
• HIPAA compliance applicable to patient data.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures accurate calibration and configuration of treatment planning and delivery equipment.
• Participates in QA programs per AAPM recommendations.
• Collects treatment planning and dosimetry data.
• Performs and verifies treatment planning calculations and billing.
• Supports research data collection and regulatory credentialing.
