Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Radiation Therapy Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversight for radiation therapists within a patient-centered oncology program. You will supervise staff, ensure safe treatment delivery, and guide adoption of new technologies and protocols.

You will oversee workflow, mentor staff and students, and coordinate with leadership to maintain high safety and quality standards across treatment planning, imaging, and therapy delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily workflow and staffing for radiation therapists.
• Provides clinical and didactic instruction to staff and students.
• Reviews and updates departmental policies to reflect best practices.
• Monitors treatment rooms and CT areas for safety compliance.
• Performs patient setup and delivers prescribed radiation treatments per plan.
• Performs QA checks and addresses equipment issues promptly.
• Serves as acting supervisor in the absence of the Radiation Therapy Supervisor.
