UVM Health - Alice Hyde Medical Center is seeking a Lead Radiation Therapist to serve as a role model in clinical assessment, treatment delivery, and team competency. This leader provides direct patient care and facilitates communication with the Regional Oncology Services Director and Radiation Oncology Manager.
The role requires supervision of staff, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to evaluate clinical completion across age groups served.

The Lead Radiation Therapist is responsible for facilitating essential communication to the Regional Oncology Services Director and Radiation Oncology Manager and is accountable to the Physicist and Physician regarding clinical issues. This position does provide direct patient care.

Graduate to an accredited program in radiation therapy. Registration and licensure as required. Experience in radiation therapy, treatment and supervision. Possesses good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner that enhances communication, promotes conflict resolutions and facilitates staff development. Skills & knowledge to sustain and evaluate clinical completion in caring for specific age and type of patient population served.
