Job summary

American Oncology Network seeks a Radiation Therapist to join the Fort Wayne Radiation Oncology team. The RTT delivers prescribed radiation treatments, assists with patient positioning, and ensures safety and accurate documentation within the treatment workflow.

The role requires graduation from an accredited program, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of experience (recent grads considered).

Qualifications

• Minimum – Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Preferred – BS Degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or other related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year active experience as a Radiation Therapist is required; recent graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services as part of the radiation oncology treatment team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and other members of the radiation oncology team.
• Respond to emergency situations, provide first aid, CPR and other patient care until a physician or nurse arrives.
• Document accurately and legibly treatment set-ups, doses and calculations.
• Explain procedures and safety measures to patients and families.
