Job summary

Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments under supervision. You will position patients, operate treatment equipment, document all procedures and help ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

The RTT collaborates with the Radiation Therapy Lead, communicates clearly with patients and families, and participates in quality assurance, chart reviews, and adherence to department protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year RTT experience; recent graduates eligible.
• ARRT RTT certification; CPR/BLS current.
• Dual certification as General Radiographer or CT Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments and document doses and charts.
• Position patients, operate treatment equipment, and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate with patients, families, and oncology team.
• Perform QA checks, report deviations, and support quality improvement.
• Assist with simulations and data entry into EMR systems.
