Job summary

Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology is seeking a Radiation Therapist (RTT) to deliver prescribed radiation treatments under the supervision of the Radiation Therapy Lead. You will position patients, operate treatment equipment and ensure accurate documentation of treatment records.

The role requires at least one year of RTT experience or eligible graduates, ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RTT experience required; recent RTT grads eligible to sit for registry.
• Graduation from an accredited RTT program; BS preferred.
• ARRT certification required; CPR/BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments and ensure safety per department procedures.
• Position patients and operate treatment delivery from the control room.
• Document treatment records accurately and input data into the EMR.
• Monitor for side effects and report deviations to Radiation Therapy Lead/Physician.
• Perform patient simulations as needed and assist in QA checks.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide education on skin care and nutrition.
