SunState Medical Specialists (SMS) in Fort Myers is seeking a Radiation Therapist to coordinate, plan, and administer high-quality radiotherapy to oncology patients. You will position patients, operate treatment equipment, and document care in the EMR, while upholding ALARA and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will be ARRT certified, state-licensed, CPR-certified, and proficient with EMR and treatment planning tools.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (T) in good standing.
• State licensed (where required) and CPR certified.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer literacy with EMR and treatment software.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare immobilization and treatment devices; position patients for simulations.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses per protocol and document in EMR.
• Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and report issues.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and provide patient education and reassurance.
• Train or supervise students and participate in meetings and chart rounds.
