SunState Medical Specialists (SMS), part of OneOncology, seeks a Radiation Therapist in Fort Walton Beach, FL to coordinate and administer radiotherapy for oncology patients. You will operate treatment devices, ensure patient safety, document simulations and treatments in the EMR, and support cross‑departmental care with accuracy and empathy.

Requirements include Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy, ARRT Registered Technologist (T), state licensure where required, CPR

Qualifications

• Graduate education in radiation therapy with clinical training.
• Active state license where required for practice.
• ARRT certification as Radiation Therapist.
• CPR certification and ongoing continuing education.

Responsabilités

• Prepare or construct immobilization, treatment, or protection devices.
• Position patients for simulation and treatment with accuracy per prescription.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses using therapy equipment per standards.
• Document simulations, treatments, and patient care activities in the EMR.
• Assist with documentation in the department and chart rounds.
• Check equipment QA and warm‑up procedures; report issues per policy.
• Coordinate patient schedules to optimize resources and care flow.

Formation

Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy
