Job summary

Allegheny Health Network delivers therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by physicians. The role includes simulations, delivering treatments, educating patients, and maintaining records with a focus on quality and safety.

Two positions are available for skilled radiologic technologists with ARRT certification or eligibility, CPR, and required background clearances. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a two-year commitment, and shifts are daylight with no weekends,

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or board eligibility within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Background clearances as per Pennsylvania Act 34/33/73/ FBI Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient simulations. (20%)
• Delivers prescribed radiation treatment. (50%)
• Assesses, supports, and educates patients according to department guidelines. (10%)
• Maintains medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and QA per regulations. (15%)
• Performs other duties including mentoring staff and participating in initiatives. (5%)

Education

ARRT Registered Technologist RT(T) in good standing or board eligible (must complete certification within 1 year of hire)

CPR – American Heart Association

Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
