Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a Forbes top hospital located in Buckeye Lake, OH. You will join a 40-hour week, day shift (8am–4:30pm) with no weekends, no on-call duties, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role offers a salary range of $74,000–$99,000 based on experience. Key responsibilities include administering photon/electron radiation, performing simulations, QA participation, and documentation per department policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy Program and RTT certification.
• Licensed in Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT) required.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience; TrueBeam/Trilogy/ARIA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer photon and electron radiation under the direction of the radiation oncologist.
• Perform simulations and construct shielding blocks; document duties and participate in QA activities.
• Administer treatments per prescription and ensure adherence to instructions.
• Prepare simulations for radiation therapy treatments.
• Verify patient treatment orders and documentation; assess patient needs.
• Operate imaging and therapeutic equipment safely and competently.
• Prioritize tasks to complete duties on time.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Willing to cross-train in other areas to improve efficiency.
