Job summary

Confident Search Consultants represents a Forbes top 100 hospital seeking a Radiation Therapist in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. This full-time role offers a day shift, 40 hours weekly, with a competitive salary and full benefits.

You will administer photon and electron treatments under the radiation oncologist, perform simulations, QA, and patient education while coordinating with the Radiation Oncology team.

Qualifications

• AMA accredited Radiation Therapy program required.
• Registered RTT with ARRT.
• Ohio LRTT license required.

Responsibilities

• Administer photon and electron radiation under the radiation oncologist direction.
• Perform simulations, construct shielding blocks, document duties, and participate in QA activities.
• Administer treatments per prescription as instructed by the oncologist.
• Perform simulations in preparation for radiation therapy treatments.
• Verify patient treatments and orders with proper documentation.
• Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families.
• Operate imaging, therapeutic and related equipment safely and competently.
• Prioritize tasks to complete assignments timely.
• Cross-train in other areas to improve operations.
