Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a Forbes top 100 hospital located in Buckeye Lake, OH. The position is full-time (40 hours, Monday–Friday, day shift) with no weekends, no calls, and a competitive benefits package.

The successful candidate will administer photon/electron radiation, perform simulations, and participate in QA, documentation, and patient education within a collaborative Radiation Oncology team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Licensed in the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT).
• At least 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience.
• Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy and Aria strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer photon and electron radiation and assist in brachytherapy under the radiation oncologist, per department policies.
• Perform simulations and construct shielding blocks, document duties, and participate in QA activities.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments per prescription and instructions by the oncologist.
• Perform simulations in preparation of treatments.
• Use proper documentation to verify patient treatments and orders.
• Assist in assessing patient needs and education for patients and families.
• Operate imaging, therapeutic and related equipment safely and competently.
• Prioritize tasks to complete assignments on time.
