Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists, part of OneOncology, seeks a Radiation Therapist to plan and administer radiotherapy for oncology patients across all ages. You will ensure accurate positioning, document treatments in EMR, and uphold ALARA safety standards with a team of physicians and therapists.

The role requires ARRT (T) registration or eligibility, state licensure as applicable, and strong communication skills. Training in 3D Conformal, IMRT, SRS/SBRT, and CT simulation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (T); state licensing where required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or construct equipment (immobilization, treatment) and documentation.
• Position patients for simulation and treatment with high accuracy.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses following established practices.
• Document simulations, treatments and patient care activities in EMR.
• Coordinate and plan patient schedules to optimize resources.
• Maintain adherence to ALARA and radiation safety standards.
