Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists is seeking a Radiation Therapist to coordinate and deliver high-quality radiotherapy for oncology patients across all ages. You will work with 3D Conformal, IMRT, SRS/SBRT, IGRT, and brachytherapy techniques, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role requires ARRT (T) certification, state licensing as applicable, and CPR; familiarity with TS/EMR systems and cross-functional teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School for Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT Registered Technologist (T) credential.
• State license as required by location.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare immobilization, treatment, or protection devices.
• Position patients for simulation and treatment with accuracy.
• Administer prescribed radiation doses using therapy equipment per standards.
• Document simulations, treatments, and care activities in the EMR.
• Check equipment and perform QA per policy.
• Maintain patient safety and ALARA principles.
